This Wednesday, I had the opportunity to attend, as a journalist, the official opening of Santiago’s new intermodal station—an infrastructure set to mark a turning point in the city’s mobility. The new passenger building, named after Daniel Castelao, opens its doors with a clear commitment to intermodality and collective memory.

It was a day full of symbolism, attended by the media, institutional representatives, and citizens. Together, we shared a moment that is now part of Compostela’s history. I had the privilege of seeing the facilities before they opened to the public—getting a first look at the transformation of a key space that connects neighborhoods, people, and times.
